Ingala Robl was born in Prague to German-Austrian parents and spent her early years in Germany. Most of her life has been dedicated to residing in Mexico.
Ingala pursued a degree in sociology at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at the University UNAM in Mexico City, graduating with honours. She was awarded the prestigious Gabino Barreda Medal in recognition of academic excellence. Additionally, Ingala holds a Master’s degree with honours in Systemic Family Therapy and a Certificate in Systemic Couple Therapy, both from the Latin American Institute for Family Studies (ILEF). Furthermore, she achieved certification in Brief Therapy from the Mental Research Institute (MRI) in Palo Alto, California, USA.
Collaborating with Claudio Naranjo, Ingala studied Gestalt Therapy, Enneagram, and the Fischer-Hoffman process. Later, she completed a six-year therapist training in Core Energetics at the Institute of Core Energetics in New York, attaining a postgraduate degree through Instituto Yollocalli in Mexico City. Notably, Ingala had the privilege of being an assistant to the creator of this training, Dr. John Pierrakos, in various countries, including Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico.
From 1994 onward, Ingala undertook extensive learning with Lorenz Wiest and Bert Hellinger and earned certifications as a Family Constellation Therapist from both. Subsequently, she gained the designation of Master Trainer for Organizational work by Infosyon (International Forum for Systemic Constellations) in Germany. Complementing this, Ingala enriched her expertise by studying Biología-Cultural with Dr. Humberto Maturana in Chile.
Feeling a deep commitment to share the knowledge generously imparted by her mentors, Ingala established the Therapeutical Institute SOWELU. She continues to serve as the General Director of the institute, offering classes and workshops. In addition, Ingala holds the position of dean at the university Instituto de Estudios Superiores SOWELU, A.C. She achieved a significant milestone when Systemic Family Constellations were officially recognized as an academic Master’s degree program by the Mexican Ministry of Education.
In December 2019, Ingala earned a Doctorate, specializing in Systemic Family Therapy and Family Constellations with a focus on Symptoms and Health.
Her contributions extend to the publication of four books in Spanish through Penguin/Random House. Furthermore, two titles have been released in Spain by another publisher, and two of these works have been translated into Portuguese in Brazil.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Ingala values quality time with family and friends. She enjoys regular walks, particularly by the seaside, and finds solace in reading, meditation, and yoga practice to maintain well-being. Health and wellness are a priority, with a focus on Hahnemann’s Homeopathy and natural remedies.
Ingala is deeply passionate about teaching and has a penchant for delivering conferences on both national and international platforms.
