Stephan Hausener is a world-renowned facilitator of Systemic Constellations who has been working in the field since 1993 after an ‘immersive’ training with Bert Hellinger. Stephan is the author of the book Even if it Costs my Life – Systemic Constellations and Serious Illness, which has been translated into 13 languages. His CV ranges from his medical background to humanistic psychotherapy and cranio-sacral therapy. The latter to which he credits his depth and range of perception skills in a rather remarkable account.
Stephan conducts international workshops and training in more than 50 countries. His work focuses on awakening transformative processes within the client: movement when there is fixation, empowerment when there is disempowerment. This enables the client’s ability to respond to every aspect of life he says adding that “Systemic medicine withdraws from the need to recognise causal connections and instead focuses on the inherent potential of the patient to initiate healing changes”.
Stephan initially trained as a Heilpraktiker (That’s German for a paramedical diploma) specialising in homoeopathy, osteopathy and physio energetics. Due to this medical background, Stephan became engrossed in what is the hidden undercurrent of diseases and blockages. Through his work he gives voice to the connection of symptoms and trans-generational trauma that prevents us from living our potential.
